Who doesn’t like sweet stuff?, some of you may have already seen our delicious cakes from the Bake Sale day on our Instagram page. We’re all about the sweet stuff during the summer, find out why here…
The Dementia Café celebrated their first ‘Bake Sale’ at HQ Canary Wharf on the 17th of June. As a charity our aim is to help people with dementia and improve their daily routine. We believe in a healthy lifestyle and healthy food, therefore we decide to bake vegan cakes at the Dementia Café as we are a vegan charity.
We were inspired by blogger Jennifer Rose from ‘Neurotic Mommy’ blog with her delicious recipe of a vegan cranberry orange loaf cake.

Another very delicious cake that will make you drool, is the no bake vegan brownies with chocolate ganache by blogger Dana from ‘Minimalist Baker’ blog. It is very easy and fast to prepare. This recipe is entirely raw and requires no baking. BONUS! Takes about 30 minutes to make.

Our attempt to prepare some mini cheesecakes though was an EPIC FAIL! We would be more than glad to share the recipe with you, unfortunately we only have photo of the frozen solid stage of the cheese cakes to show you, as the results are obvious. (We are sure you can do much better than us).

If you would like to follow our recipes here are the details of the ingredients that we used: Alpro Soya milk, we also recommenced free from Flora ‘butter’, egg replacer (see the picture below) which you can find in any healthy food store like ‘Holland & Barrett’ And help Us to raise money for the charity.
